Making a Difference...

Fundraising can take a number of forms: slipping on your trainers for a sponsored walk or run, donning your apron to bake up some treats to sell or – like Carenza, Josh and Mariquita – you could take on an unforgettable challenge.

Carenza, Josh and Mariquita skydived from 13,000ft...

Mariquita completed this remarkable feat aged 85!

We hope this gets you itching for an ambitious and invigorating fundraising experience....

Steps to Fundraising: a Mini-Guide

  1. Set your target

How much do you want to raise? Believe in yourself and be ambitious!

2. Decide what you're going to do

What are your strengths? How could they be used in an activity to meet your fundraising goal?

3. Get planning

The best fundraising efforts are always well organised - think about everything you might need, and any support you require.

4. Have fun and stay safe!

During your event, remember to look out for yourself and those around you... And enjoy yourself! Fundraising is a real achievement, however much you make.

Volunteer with us

Our volunteers make a huge contribution to the well-being and recovery of our residents, helping transform lives of people affected by mental health issues.

We offer support to our volunteers so that they can gain as much as they give from volunteering.

Check out our Work With Us page for information on current volunteering opportunities here

Hear our residents talk about the difference CHT has made to their lives

The work we do is vital to transforming the lives of people experiencing the most debilitating mental health difficulties.

We could not do this alone and greatly appreciate all the help we get from wonderful people and organisations who support us.
