Hi I am Jay, I am the service manager at Lilias Gillies House. I have worked in health and social care for over 13 years and began working for CHT in spring 2019. I studied Health and Social Care, but also have a background in IT and Art. Before working as a manager for CHT, I coordinated another mental health service where I was able to attend a comprehensive three weeks training in New York which was based on a mental health recovery model, and following this was able to start up a young adults transitional programme to support young people with mental-ill health transition to adult services. Prior to this I worked supporting young people in the probationary system.
Hi I am Kirsty, I am the service psychotherapist at Lilias Gillies House, where I have worked since March 2019. I am a psychodynamically trained Art Psychotherapist with 7 years clinical experience working with adults and children in secure hospital settings, the community and in private practice. I offer weekly 1:1 therapy sessions to our residents as well as facilitating reflective, therapeutic and psychoeducational groups for residents and staff.
