Peter has had a long career as a Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist, Trainer, Lecturer and Organisational Consultant in Psychologically Informed Environments (PIEs). Peter specialises in psychotherapy and psychosocial interventions with people experiencing homelessness or other forms of social exclusion, histories of compound trauma and ‘complex needs’.
Before joining CHT in 2017, Peter worked for St Mungo’s for over 20 years, most recently as Director of Health & Recovery. Peter was also one of the co-authors of the DCLG-sponsored national guidance on Psychologically Informed Environments, published in 2011, and is the author of a number of articles and book chapters.
